Spring Ready

Hey everyone!

As always, I know it has been a while since I've last touched the blog. If anything, it was probably the longest time, as I don't recall myself even visiting my website much for the whole of last month. To be fair, the stress of exams, completing large assignments at the very last minute, and then shortly finding myself in Japan for four weeks should thoroughly explain my unproductivity. But it's always such prolonged periods of time of not uploading anything that I become incredibly inspired to post a lot from thereon. Let me tell you, I do have a lot of things in mind that will include more than just your usual 'personal fashion' blog entries.

Firstly though, here's a casual outfit that I wore on Saturday. I love my sneakers, and for the most part, you'll catch me wearing a pair, especially when I'm at uni. Running to a class that you're 5 minutes late to becomes that much easier with them on. I want to incorporate more everyday/ sneaker looks onto the blog to demonstrate that you can easily dress down anything with a suitable pair of sneakers.

Deep down, I was wishing I was in Japan during spring to witness their 'sakura' season firsthand. And it is partially that reason that I wanted cherry blossoms to feature in my latest blog post when I found some blossoming beautifully down the quiet streets of Adelaide.

In regards to travelling, I've realised that I do travel interstate quite a bit. And it got to a point where I no longer bothered to document any of it on here, besides the daily updates that I spam all my followers with on da gram. However, it is something I do regret as I tend to forget that a majority of my readers are Australian, and not everyone has visited Melbourne, or Sydney for example. Is it not nice to read detailed blog posts filled with new recommendations for brunch places, tourist areas, or shopping districts that I've visited? I know that is one thing I search online for when I'm planning to visit a new city. This realisation came to mind when someone on my Ask Fm recently asked me where they should go for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Sydney. If she/ he had asked me this a year ago, I would have provided them with an extensive list but considering how I have not been to Sydney in almost a year, I barely knew the 'updated' answer to it anymore...

Consequently, I am aiming to change this, and what's a better way to do this that to write one (or a few) for Japan? I'm thinking of doing a couple photo diaries, and of course, recommendations of what you should do if you were to visit Japan from my perspective! That'll be in another post though ;)

These photos are so beautiful! I'm in-love with that top.
I love seeing other people photo-diaries. Can't wait to see some from Japan :)
