Being quite a social law student to say to the least, one of the most hyped up events for many of us is the annual AULSS Law Ball. As such, the quest to search for the ideal dress was a constant struggle. (To be honest, finding a dress for any formal occasion is a struggle to me- hear me out ladies!) Fortunately, the ever- so- kind Daisy from GlamCorner came to the rescue- inquiring for us to have a collaboration together, just in time for the month of June.

GlamCorner is an Australian- based, online, designer dress hire service. (Well that was descriptive). I've been exposed to a few of these hiring services before, but have never personally tried it. What I love about GlamCorner is that it features a wide variety of beautiful dresses, ranging from Alex Perry to Ellery. I get many enquiries from girls (I'm assuming this) on my Ask, pondering as to where I should direct them for formal dresses, and GlamCorner would definitely be one of my top recommendations. Moreover, you only need to pay a portion of the dress' retail price, look/ feel beautiful, and not have to worry about seeing the dress in your wardrobe for years, as you probably wouldn't wear it again.
The site also has a great feature at an extremely plausible rate, whereby you get to select up to three gorgeous dresses to be sent directly to your house as a "try on" service. They include postage bags correspondingly so that you're able to find the perfect dress from the three available options, and send the two back. I got to try on this Alex Perry dress (I literally felt like a princess), and this Camilla dress, but couldn't take my eyes off the Lover one. It's just screams elegance, class, and you can never go wrong with anything backless. Additionally, I was overwhelmed to see a complimentary People for Plants' eye cream come with the package, as I've been desperate for a new one. Overall, I just really appreciated the fantastic customer service, starting from the prompt email responses, to Daisy sending me an email, just to wish me a great night. Thank you once again!
So what do you think, did you like my dress selection for the night?
