Crossing Over

Dress c/o Two Sisters, Shirt c/o Motel Rocks, Nike Roshe via Platypus Shoes, Tony Bianco heels (second outfit)
Photos by Saran
Whilst the LBD (i.e. the little black dress) is usually referred to for semi- formal occasions and events, I wanted to turn the tables around, and suggest a more casual way of wearing the epitome of timeless womenswear. Yet being the indecisive person that I am, I figured it was best to show styling alternatives ranging from tying a baggy shirt around my waist, with a pair of sneakers, to wearing some heels in another. Which one do you prefer?
On another note, I am actually really liking these street- style shots. When I'm the one directing how my sister or close friends should capture photos of me for the blog, I specifically go to deserted locations, alley ways for example to minimise the chances of encountering my friends/ acquaintances/ creepy strangers. I don't know why but I usually feel more comfortable when there aren't people in sight watching. However when I'm shooting with Saran (the professional), my confidence seems to naturally escalate tremendously, to the extent where I wouldn't care less where we are (i.e. main roads), or how many cars are beeping at us as they drive past. It's always a fun experience I'd say.
P.s. Call me dedicated or what? I'm currently writing this post in my car because it's pouring outside. Have a lovely night!

Both outfits are very cute but I adore the casual one. Maybe because I'm a casual type of girl :)
