Winter calls for layering, a lot of layering. Winter also calls for a new seasonal wardrobe. I am slowly trying to achieve that goal by constantly brainstorming exact pieces that I need for the upcoming Winter - think black hats, black boots, oversized coats, woollen sweaters, black scarves etc..
Are there any must- have winter essentials on your list?
Whilst being a wardrobe staple to many for years, sneakers are undeniably becoming a massive "it" thing for high street/ high end fashion. It's no longer just casual sneakers, a pair of skinny jeans, and a shirt. Sneakers are now the substitute for heels and stilettos. I am not complaining though, having to sometimes work for long hours, and knowing that I'll find myself at University after to study, sneakers would be my automatic go- to for shoes. Heels on the other hand, whilst beautiful and feminine, are too impractical to wear during the day, let alone imagining myself on Uni grounds with them on. Weird stares - come at me. I won't lie if I say that I haven't worn massive heels/ platform shoes to Uni before though. I mean, come on, I can wear whatever I want.

I had a great weekend to say the least, feasting at sushi train for brunch after a big night out at the University of Adelaide's Engineering pub-crawl (one of biggest pub-crawls in the world) on Friday night. There were more than 5000 intoxicated kids roaming around the east and west ends of Adelaide's CBD in their bright, green Scrabble- themed shirts. Ah, great memories - especially when all the toilets at the London Tavern were flooded. Um... (Don't worry though, we moved to a different venue shortly after).
